Please read the following terms carefully before booking your appointment.

1. Age Requirements

Clients must be 16 or over for most piercings. Clients aged 16–17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who must provide written consent at the time of the appointment. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time. We will not pierce anyone under the age of 16 under any circumstances.

2. Health Declarations

Clients must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, or implants prior to their appointment. This includes but is not limited to blood-thinning medications, diabetes, heart conditions, and metal allergies. We reserve the right to decline a piercing if we believe it poses a health risk to the client.

3. Appointments & Cancellations

We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee or loss of deposit. We appreciate your understanding as late cancellations affect other clients who could have taken your slot.

4. Deposits

A deposit may be required to secure certain bookings. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of a no-show or late cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice. Deposits will be deducted from the total cost of your appointment on the day.

5. Jewellery Policy

We only use implant-grade jewellery (ASTM F136 titanium, implant-grade steel, or solid gold) for all piercings. We do not pierce with client-supplied jewellery for hygiene and safety reasons. The use of appropriate jewellery is essential for safe healing, and we will not compromise on this standard.

6. Aftercare Responsibility

Clients are provided with full aftercare guidance at the time of their appointment and can access it on this website. Bradford Piercing Atelier is not liable for complications arising from failure to follow aftercare instructions, including but not limited to infection, rejection, or scarring resulting from improper care.

7. Refunds

Due to the nature of the service, we do not offer refunds once a piercing has been performed. If you have any concerns about your piercing, please contact us directly before taking any action — we are always happy to advise and support you through your healing journey.

8. Photography & Social Media

We may take photographs of our work for portfolio and social media use. You will always be asked for explicit consent prior to any photography. You may decline at any time and this will not affect the quality of service you receive. If you consent and later wish for images to be removed, please contact us directly.

9. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is intoxicated, under the influence of substances, aggressive, or whose health or safety we believe may be at risk. We also reserve the right to refuse a piercing if we believe the placement requested is unsafe or likely to cause harm.

10. Liability

Bradford Piercing Atelier is not liable for any adverse reactions resulting from failure to disclose relevant medical conditions, allergies, or medications, or from failure to follow the aftercare advice provided. We take every precaution to ensure a safe and professional service, and our liability is limited to the service provided within the studio.
