Please read the following terms carefully before booking your appointment.
Clients must be 16 or over for most piercings. Clients aged 16–17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who must provide written consent at the time of the appointment. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time. We will not pierce anyone under the age of 16 under any circumstances.
Clients must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, or implants prior to their appointment. This includes but is not limited to blood-thinning medications, diabetes, heart conditions, and metal allergies. We reserve the right to decline a piercing if we believe it poses a health risk to the client.
We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee or loss of deposit. We appreciate your understanding as late cancellations affect other clients who could have taken your slot.
A deposit may be required to secure certain bookings. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of a no-show or late cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice. Deposits will be deducted from the total cost of your appointment on the day.
We use ASTM F136 implant-grade titanium and 316L surgical-grade stainless steel jewellery for piercings. We do not pierce with client-supplied jewellery for hygiene and safety reasons. The use of appropriate jewellery is essential for safe healing, and we will not compromise on this standard.
Clients are provided with full aftercare guidance at the time of their appointment and can access it on this website. Bradford Piercing Atelier is not liable for complications arising from failure to follow aftercare instructions, including but not limited to infection, rejection, or scarring resulting from improper care.
Due to the nature of the service, we do not offer refunds once a piercing has been performed. If you have any concerns about your piercing, please contact us directly before taking any action — we are always happy to advise and support you through your healing journey.
We may take photographs of our work for portfolio and social media use. You will always be asked for explicit consent prior to any photography. You may decline at any time and this will not affect the quality of service you receive. If you consent and later wish for images to be removed, please contact us directly.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is intoxicated, under the influence of substances, aggressive, or whose health or safety we believe may be at risk. We also reserve the right to refuse a piercing if we believe the placement requested is unsafe or likely to cause harm.
Bradford Piercing Atelier is not liable for any adverse reactions resulting from failure to disclose relevant medical conditions, allergies, or medications, or from failure to follow the aftercare advice provided. We take every precaution to ensure a safe and professional service, and our liability is limited to the service provided within the studio.
Submitting a jewellery pre-order form is a request for us to check availability; it is not an immediate purchase, reservation or supplier order. We will confirm whether the requested jewellery can be ordered before sending a payment request. Where approved, we will email a Customer Unique Jewellery Order Reference (CUJOR). Please keep this reference with your request and quote it when replying about payment.
Where an approved item can be ordered, we request a £5 deposit for each approved unit. The deposit is requested only after availability has been checked. We manually verify payment before placing an item on our order list. Please use your name when paying and reply to the deposit email with your CUJOR reference once payment is complete.
If we cannot obtain an approved item after a deposit has been paid, we will arrange the appropriate refund within 5–10 working days. If you cancel after we have placed a supplier order, any amount retained will be handled fairly and only to the extent permitted by your statutory rights and any reasonable loss actually incurred. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
We aim for approved jewellery to be in the studio within 5–10 working days after a verified deposit. Deposits verified by Wednesday 6pm are aimed for Saturday studio availability where possible, but this is an aim rather than a guarantee. An appointment preference included in a jewellery request is not a confirmed appointment; any piercing slot is confirmed separately.
Until 31 October 2026, an approved Halloween jewellery request with a full-price jewellery total of more than £100 may receive 10% off the jewellery total at the till using code Halloween31BPA, once the required deposit has been paid. The offer applies to jewellery only and does not apply to piercing services. Requests remain open after Halloween, but requests made after Monday 26 October 2026 may not arrive by Saturday 31 October 2026.
