Jewellery pre-order requests
When you send a jewellery pre-order request, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, the jewellery and quantities you request, your collection or appointment preference, and the dates and progress of the request. We do not collect date of birth, medical information or payment-card details through the jewellery pre-order form.
Why we use the information
We use this information to acknowledge your request, check availability, contact you about an approved item, provide your CUJOR (Customer Unique Jewellery Order Reference), administer deposits and order progress, arrange collection or use at a piercing appointment, and answer related enquiries. We also retain appropriate operational records to manage the studio and resolve customer queries.
Our lawful basis
We process pre-order information to take steps at your request before entering a contract and, where needed, for our legitimate interests in running the studio, keeping accurate order records and providing customer support. We use information only for these purposes unless another lawful basis applies.
Where information is stored or shared
Pre-order records are held in our website operational systems and inventory tracker. Emails are handled through our business email account. We share only the information needed to obtain approved jewellery from a supplier or to provide a related service. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the request, order administration, accounting, legal obligations and resolving queries. If an availability request does not progress, we will not use it for unrelated marketing.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, or object to processing. Contact us using the email above. You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
